Global Finance Leaders to Appear at Bloomberg Markets 50 Summit

| September 1, 2012 | 0 Comments

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–

As the euro zone slips into recession, growth in Asia slows, and the
U.S. approaches its fiscal cliff, Bloomberg Markets magazine will
convene more than three dozen thought leaders from the world of global
markets, finance, business and government to share their ideas and
opinions at the second annual Bloomberg Markets 50 Summit on September
13.

The full-day Summit, which will be held at Gotham Hall in New York City,
will feature an all-star lineup of speakers who will discuss the state
of the U.S. economy, how to save the euro, new opportunities in Latin
America and how China will address political and economic challenges.
Speakers will also address the state of tax reform proposals, the impact
of central banks’ policies, the outlook for alternative investing and
where the opportunities lie for global financial institutions.

The Summit coincides with Bloomberg Markets magazine’s annual list of
the Most Influential 50 – the cover story of the October 2012 issue –
and features speakers from the ranking. These are the people with the
power in global finance – the money managers who move markets, the
bankers who affect the price of a security or structure of a deal, and
the policy makers who face down economic crises.

To compile the Most Influential List, Bloomberg Markets draws upon the
expertise of Bloomberg News journalists in 150 bureaus around the globe.
The magazine emphasizes people who rise to the top in the rankings of
hedge funds, economists and investment bankers who are featured in
Bloomberg Markets throughout the year.
