Personal Finance Daily: Choosing the right tech tool for your college kid
I tried an iPad the other day. I loved it. But am I going to buy one, either for myself or my college-aged teenager? Not likely. While my daughter has the apparently requisite iPod (my husband and I share one and call it the we-pod), our family has yet to even jump into the smart-phone market, so unless we can start using the iPad like a phone, it’s not on the back-to-school list.
